Charge point operators (CPOs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and site owners trust Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, to provide electric vehicle charging infrastructure solutions through our revolutionary EVNext™ product line. This solution includes modular charging foundations and switchgear cabinets that meet major OEM charger specifications and are customizable to meet customers’ needs. The commercial partnership between Oldcastle Infrastructure and DC-America gives site owners even more flexibility, faster return on investment (ROI), and the peace of mind of a future-proofed deployment – all with minimal disruption to the site.
“Working with site owners, fleet owners, A&E firms, and contractors, we understand the unique challenges of EV charging deployments. Our EVNext infrastructure solutions are engineered to provide faster installation with reduced on-site risk. Partnering with DC-America is a game changer because we can now offer our traditional, below-ground electrical and communication infrastructure products, and a robust, above-ground platform that is pre-commissioned, tested in an assembly facility, and ultimately ready to connect to the grid on day one” says Greg DiCrosta, Director of Strategic Verticals, NA, for Oldcastle Infrastructure.
DC-America designs and manufactures charger-agnostic, expandable EV platforms that are rapidly deployable, delivered fully assembled, and need minimal excavation. These platforms save time and money on-site and give the site and fleet owners maximum flexibility and ROI. They are engineered for all types of space, topography, energy needs, and environmental conditions.
“DC-America has engineered a platform ideal for site and fleet owners looking to quickly and cost-effectively deploy EV charging on their site. Our partnership allows Oldcastle Infrastructure to further simplify the EV charging station specification and construction process,” notes DiCrosta.
The comprehensive EV solution from Oldcastle Infrastructure includes below-ground foundations for low, medium, and high-powered chargers, precast vaults engineered for structural and environmental integrity, and polymer concrete enclosures made to house the electrical and communication cabling. In addition, Oldcastle Infrastructure can provide the foundation for site lighting, signage, and charger protection. Products are designed to deliver EV charging options with the best return and the least disruption of the site with the potential to expand and upgrade sites.
