Oldcastle Infrastructure Expands Sustainability Knowledge Across the Business Through Supply Chain Sustainability School Partnership

Oldcastle Infrastructure Expands Sustainability Knowledge Across the Business Through Supply Chain Sustainability School Partnership

As part of CRH, Oldcastle Infrastructure is strengthening its commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable business practices by equipping colleagues at every level of the organization with expanded access to industry‑leading sustainability training. Through CRH’s Founding Partnership with the Supply Chain Sustainability School, Oldcastle Infrastructure employees now have free, on‑demand access to a robust library of learning resources designed to accelerate sustainability knowledge and support the company’s long‑term environmental goals.

As part of this partnership, team members can explore a wide range of interactive courses and training modules focused on key sustainability topics, including carbon measurement and reporting, energy optimization, life‑cycle assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), material reuse and repurposing, water stewardship, and nature protection. These learning resources empower teams to better understand the environmental impacts of materials and operations, strengthen decision‑making, and contribute to more sustainable infrastructure solutions across the value chain.

The platform allows employees to learn at their own pace with flexible, on‑demand access, while also earning continuing education credits to support professional development. Oldcastle Infrastructure team members will develop their sustainability knowledge via a suite of training materials, and receive notifications about upcoming webinars, workshops, and events that highlight best practices in sustainable construction, supply chain management, and carbon‑reduction strategies.

This initiative reinforces Oldcastle Infrastructure’s commitment to developing knowledgeable, sustainability‑focused teams equipped and empowered to drive meaningful environmental progress. By investing in education and aligning with leading sustainability partners, Oldcastle Infrastructure continues to advance CRH’s mission of building a more resilient, efficient, and environmentally responsible future.

Oldcastle Infrastructure Achieves Successful Transportation Management System Pilot Launch at Mansfield and Northlake Plants

Oldcastle Infrastructure Achieves Successful Transportation Management System Pilot Launch at Mansfield and Northlake Plants

MANSFIELD, TX – Oldcastle Infrastructure has reached a major milestone in its operational excellence journey with the successful launch of a new Transportation Management System (TMS) at two pilot locations: Mansfield, Texas, and Northlake, Texas. This strategic implementation is designed to modernize transportation planning, improve dispatcher‑carrier collaboration, and drive greater efficiency across the company’s logistics network.

The new TMS enhances visibility, coordination, and decision‑making throughout the transportation process, enabling plant dispatchers and carriers to work together more effectively. By optimizing route planning and scheduling, the system not only improves service and workflow efficiency but also delivers measurable sustainability benefits. These include reduced carbon emissions through fewer and shorter trips, minimized vehicle idling, and more accurate data to support ongoing optimization and reporting.

The success of the pilot launch is a direct result of strong cross‑functional collaboration. Team members from the Mansfield and Northlake plants, alongside business leaders and the development and implementation teams, worked together seamlessly as OneTeam to ensure a smooth rollout. Their commitment to training, adoption, and continuous improvement has set the foundation for future TMS deployments across additional sites.

“The TMS pilot in Texas was a great first step to closing some of our data gaps within our transportation network and look forward to widespread integration in the business,” Oldcastle Infrastructure Director of Environmental & Sustainability Sean Quarry said.

This initiative represents Oldcastle Infrastructure’s continued investment in innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, helping create a more efficient, data‑driven, and environmentally responsible transportation network.
