Overview

Deliver stormwater treatment at market-leading flow rates, with flexible configurations that adapt to the most challenging of site conditions. Hydro-Shield™ Advance is an advanced hydrodynamic separator that provides exceptional stormwater pollution capture at the industry’s highest verified and certified flow rates.

With NJCAT 2021 protocol approval, Hydro-Shield™ Advance features flexible treatment design options to meet a range of site specifications, including shallow and restricted conditions, and with unobstructed inlet zones, the system is compatible with large pipe diameters (up to 18” for a 4’ unit, and up to 24” for a 6’ unit).

With two different diameters and three different depth profiles, Hydro Shield™ Advance gives engineers and contractors the freedom to incorporate high-performance stormwater treatment under challenging site conditions or in small footprints, providing design flexibility and reducing installation costs while reliably meeting stormwater regulations. The increased surface area improves removal performance and efficiency for total suspended solids (TSS) and other pollutants, while our online design tool makes it quick and easy for specifying engineers to configure treatment to site needs.

Leveraging over 40 years of engineering excellence, Hydro-Shield™ Advance was designed by the experts from Hydro International that developed Downstream Defender® and First Defense®.
