Overview

Lightweight Yet Durable Tier 8 Enclosure

Lightweight but robust, the Fibrelyte Tier 8 enclosure is designed to provide utility access in turf, walkway and other light-duty pedestrian applications, while also providing protection against incidental traffic from commercial landscape equipment and light trucks.

Built from a strong yet light polyester/fiberglass/calcium carbonite composite material, Fibrelyte offers weight comparable to plastic but delivers a greater strength-to-weight ratio than equivalent plastics that meet Tier 8 load ratings.

Fibrelyte is quick, simple and safe to deliver, handle and install, while also enabling on-site modifications to be carried out quickly with no need for specialist tools.

Lightweight yet durable

Fibrelyte was developed by our materials science experts to deliver Tier 8 load ratings—up to 8,000 lbs of vertical load and up to 600 lbs/ft2 of lateral load—in a lightweight unit.

Flared walls provide additional lateral strength, while also increasing below-ground volume.

Fibrelyte’s composite covers can meet up to 20,000 lbs of vertical loading, making them a valuable alternative to traditional Tier 8 polymer concrete covers.
